Okay, um, hello again.

First of all, I want to apologize to all my friends and pretty much everybody... er, that is, everybody who's reading my on-going stories and/or is a part of the shikaneji fandom. I feel so bad for disappearing (which is not without reason, I swear) and, even though I've managed to recover my access to this account for quite some time now, I didn't have the courage to do anything because I wasn't (and still am not) able to keep my promises regarding my fanfics.

Lots of things happened in real life (father got sick, best friend got cancer, self got homeless, etc.) and to write it here will result in a tl;dr kind of post. So I'm just going to elaborate on the part that most impacted my ability to write fanfics or even stay in touch in general: I lost my laptop. To be precise, some motherf***er robbed me in broad daylight. Took my bag. It had my whole life in it: laptop, cell phone, wallet, and other stuff. The worst part? That day I was planning to do some data dumping, so I also had my external hard drive (where I back up all my files) in the bag. I lost everything. I had to walk to the police station because I didn't even have money to pay for a bus ride. But yeah, enough ranting, sorry.

The point is I lost all the data I need to write Golden Murder and... well, my other fanfics. Also, even after everything was finally taken care of (phone number and credit cards blocked, ID card remade, etc.) and I managed to buy a new laptop, I had trouble with some of my internet accounts (eg. my email account at yahoo is somehow stuck, I couldn't access it because I never logged out in that lost laptop). I also had trouble accessing stuff because I'm a forgetful person and never could remember my id's and/or passwords so I always let the browser do it for me. With my laptop gone... yeah. Took me lots of retries to access this one, as well as my account at DA and many other places.

Some of my friends (like Shiranui_V) have some stuff I can use (like our O.R. material) and I managed to unearth some old CDs where I've burned some data as back up (although those are really old data, as in, before I was into shikaneji, so no help there). But still, I had to place recovering what I've lost as a priority higher than writing new chapters. So all these months (years?) I've been doing just that: recovering the gigabytes and gigabytes of... stuff I really shouldn't divulge here, but anyway. Meanwhile, Naruto kept on going and the characters were dying and the dead characters came back and... well, needles to say I was somewhat dispirited. I lost the will to retouch the fandom, much less continue my fanfictions. I got jaded and throw myself to my other fandoms (I got several chapters of Crows/Worst and Final Fantasy XII fics actually written). I no longer wanted to have anything to do with shikaneji and Naruto as a whole.

Until now.

I'm back now. I'm starting to have slow days at work and, after I was finally persuaded to catch up with Naruto and was presented with Nara awesomeness, I'm currently jotting down ideas. That is, re-jotting down ideas. I've forgotten most of them, but I'm trying to remember now. This will be a veeeeery slow process, especially for Golden Murder (can't remember those damn little details I've cursed myself with), but I will work at it. And hey, at least I remember who the murderer is in Golden Murder, haha.

So, yeah. That's how it is. Again, I'm really, really, really sorry. I'll try and answer all the messages here, too, but please forgive me if I'm so slow with this. I'm here, I'm alive, and I hope nobody hates me... much.

I promised a friend some banners for shikanejishika community a while back, so I made them and... realized that I had NO idea how to post pictures on LJ. Megafail. So anyway, I used the trial-and-error approach (with the oh-so-handy "Just Me (Private)" setting so no one would get a spam of tragic picture posting attempts) and finally, after more than enough clicking and copy-pasting urls... I got it!!!!


HOW did I get that picture, you ask? Well, I was walking around Konoha (UR universe) one day and, lo and behold! Shikamaru and Neji! I quickly snapped a picture, but then Shikamaru looked pissed (I think he said "Troublesome fangirls..." or something) so I ran for my dear life.

Oh, you mean seriously? Well, um, I used Naruto covers to made it *sweat*.  Colored them up, put them together; stuff like that. Heheh...
